Electronic publications

Founded in 2007, the Bulletin du Centre de recherche du château de Versailles is an exclusively electronic, peer-reviewed scientific journal published on a rolling basis by the Centre de recherche du château de Versailles. It is distributed under a Freemium Open Access model (articles are freely accessible in HTML format and downloadable in PDF and ePub formats only for users at partner institutions).

The journal is a member of the humanities and social sciences platform OpenEdition (supported by the Centre national de la recherche scientifique, Aix-Marseille Université, the École des hautes études en sciences sociales and Avignon Université) and is listed in the DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals).

The Bulletin publishes individual scholarly articles in French or English, as well as proceedings from conferences, study days, seminars, and roundtables on all aspects of European court societies from the 16th to the 19th century.
