Electronic editions of sources

Since 2017, the Centre de recherche du château de Versailles has been participating in digital publishing projects involving manuscript sources, archival materials, or printed works from the modern era—in French or other languages—led by international research teams.

These open-access editions may be produced as part of funded calls for proposals or through partnerships with existing infrastructures (such as the EMAN and TACTEO platforms).

They may include digital facsimiles, transcriptions, annotations, indexes, and visualization tools (such as maps and networks).

In addition to archiving, preserving, and disseminating documents that are often unpublished, these projects serve as research and exploration tools for the scientific community.
